How to Enable a Wareless Mouse for a Laptop

today I want to share something with you my dear, about connecting a mouse for a computer especially Laptop. in this we will discuss about enabling a usb mouse and wareless mouse.

Enabling a USB Mouse (follow the procedures below)

• Verify that the mouse you're thinking of purchasing is compatible with your laptop model. Browse the mouse manufacturer's website or read the packaging to ensure that it will function with your computer.
• Plug the mouse's USB cable into the matching port on the side of your laptop.
• Restart your computer while the mouse is connected. Once the system has rebooted, the New Hardware Wizard will run and install the driver required for proper functioning of the mouse.
• Move your mouse a few times to confirm that the cursor responds. You may now use your optical mouse as well as your computer's touchpad for navigation.

Enabling a Wireless Mouse (follow the following procedures)

•  Check for compatibility between your computer and the mouse you're planning to purchase.
• Install the required batteries in the wireless mouse. On most models, you can lift the top panel on the mouse to expose the battery compartment. AA batteries are typically used to power wireless mice.
• Plug the USB receiver bundled with the mouse into the port on the side of your computer.
• Press and hold the small button on the underside of the mouse and the button on the USB receiver simultaneously. Continue holding the buttons down until the tracking light on the underside of the mouse illuminates.
• Turn the mouse over and begin moving it to ensure that the cursor tracks properly.
