WHAT IS ANDROID?

ANDROID is the mobile operating system that developed by Google company based on Linux Kernel, this operating system primarily designed for touchscreen  devices such as smart phones and tablets.

many people they know that, android is the kind of mobile phone but not true, the  real meaning is just an operating system that operate the phone such as smart phones and tablets.

WHY YOU CANT DOWNLOAD ANY APPLICATION FROM PLAY STORE WITHOUT LOG IN USING GOOGLE ACCOUNT (GMAIL)

smart phone user cant download any application without sign in by using google account this is becouse the operating system of smart phone and tablets is under google company that develop ANDROID DEVICES thats why you cant use your phone actively without log in with gmail account.

to know the android version of your phone go to your phone setting>>about phone>>version(android version) then touch rapidly until you will see the changes that android type will appeared such as jearbean, lollpop

the best version nowadays is from 5.0 and above, means from this point all applications will launch without any problem or errors.
